	VALERIAN 12ml Valerian officinalis Steam Distilled from the roots of the plant. The key active ingredient (valepotriates) are thought to be responsible for it's sedative effect on the central nervous system. As such it may be a useful addition to a calming or sleep blend used in an aromatherapy oil burner.
